Our state-certified adult day service, provides a cheerful, home-like environment.  Looking for companionship, things to do, or seeking caregiver assistance?  We bake, cook, paint, go on outings, play cards and games, exercise, chat and so much more.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, our team of certified nursing assistants, physical and occupational therapists, social workers and volunteers ensure your loved one has a wonderful stay.  We maintain a client-to-staff ratio that ensures proper attention is given to each individual.

Club Gabriel includes a Snoozelen Room that offers a safe, comforting environment for participants who require a relaxing environment.  “Snoozelen” is a combination of two Dutch verbs: snuffelen (to seek out, sniff, or explore) and doezelen (to relax).  It is a wonderful environment filled with sights, sounds, textures and aromas used to stimulate, calm, relax or energize.  A lovely, secure patio provides outdoor enjoyment and relaxation.  Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., except holidays.  Members of Club Gabriel enjoy the following amenities:

Our Bladder Health Program is a patient-centered, multidisciplinary program involving nursing, therapy and physicians.  In collaboration with local experts, we manage the intake and medical follow-up protocols of the incontinence program through the expertise of urologists and a nurse practitioner.  We offer a holistic approach to incontinence through patient education, lifestyle changes, physiological quieting and muscular balance and re-education.  Contact us for a consultation and lose those bladder blues. Ear Irrigation or Candling

What’s the Buzzy?  If you are not hearing all you want to, perhaps your ears need some attention.  Ear Irrigation or Candling services are offered on the third Tuesday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  The procedure consists of drawing wax and debris out of the ear canal which relieves pressure from behind the ear and sharpens mental functions.  Ear Candling is an ancient ear-cleansing process that is relaxing and non-invasive.  The 30 minute procedure draws wax and debris into a 100% beeswax cone.  Herb, essential oils, extracts and essences are also used.  Ear Irrigation is a sophisticated removal system that reduces many of the side effects associated with other irrigation devices. Blood Pressure Screenings

Help your heart and yourself by participating in our free Blood Pressure Screenings.  The heart’s job is to pump blood through the arteries to the body.  The force of pressure in the arteries is measured with the blood pressure cuff.  Blood pressure is typically recorded as two numbers – the systolic pressure (when the heart beats) over the diastolic pressure (when the heart relaxes).  When your pressure begins to rise, it means the heart is working harder.

Often in older adults the systolic number begins to rise while the diastolic number remains low or normal.  This condition is called isolated systolic hypertension (ISH).  Studies have clearly shown that treating ISH prevents death from heart attacks, strokes and heart failure and improves the quality of life.

The Life Enrichment Center offers free blood pressure screenings the first Tuesday of every month from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  This service also is provided on the second Wednesday of each month at Round House Manor and Canal Place in Kaukauna at no charge.

Now is a good time to get your blood pressure checked, know your numbers and take action to prevent high blood pressure to keep it under control.  Do it before your number is up! Top of Page
